These eyes and wooden planks can be used on any amigurumi you choose, but I designed them specifically for my pattern for Steve the Starfish. For this pattern, I suggest the following sizes (however, this may vary depending on your tension). The dimensions are for the height:
Parfait Chunky (12 mm eyes/35 mm x 10 mm plank)
Sweet Snuggles Lite/Chenille Home Slim (14 mm eyes/40 mm x 12 mm plank)
Bernat Blanket (16 mm eyes/50 mm x 14 mm plank)
Sweet Snuggles/Chenille Home (20 mm eyes/60 mm x 17 mm plank)
These eyes and wooden planks have a single stem at the back and the backing snaps on like any regular safety eye. No eye tool needed.
Like all safety eyes, I do not recommend using them on an amigurumi that will be given to children aged 3 and under, due to choking hazards.
